Light trade winds are here but not for long. We are expecting muggy days ahead and pop up showers, as well. We are also tracking the first Hawaiian named storm of the season. Walaka is well south of the isalnds and it will bring up our surf and also our humidity. Tropical moisture may bring pop up thundertorms later in the forecast period. Stay tuned.
There's a small south-southeast swell that will keep a few waves for south-facing shores. A new north-northwest swell arriving Thursday night will bring moderate-level surf, but it's going to be a short-period swell that should remain below advisory levels.
